The earth’s surface has changed dramatically over time. Its fragile crust has folded and buckled and faulted, and nowhere are these natural forces more evident than in the world’s great mountains. In this episode, viewers venture to the foot of Mount Everest, before exploring the smaller but much older mountain ranges of Central Australia, and then the Andes, the longest mountain range on earth.
